Gedeon Richter USA, Inc. which is located in Parsippany, New Jersey is the local affiliate of Gedeon Richter Plc.  Our Company is focused on business development, managing the existing alliances with our many partners as well as the sales of Richter’s active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished dosage forms. In addition, GRUSA as serves as the Regulatory Agent of the parent company for the United States of America and Canada.

Gedeon Richter's representative office in the Kyrgyz Republic was established in 1997. With a staff of 15 people, promotional work covers the entire territory of the republic.

At present there are more than 30 specialists (medical doctors and pharmacists) on staff. Our employees have an exceptional professional training in the field, they have completed numerous trainings and specializations in the field of drug registration, pharmacovigilance, promotion and market research.

From the beginning of its activity, Gedeon Richter pays special attention to the continuous  expansion of its portfolio. At present, the company is the leader on the pharmaceutical market of antihypertensives, hormonal medication for women, psychiatry, antifungals and others (Pharmaceutical Marketing Group data, 2020).

The company carries out wide scientific activity in Moldova, organizes symposiums, seminars, roundtables, scientific research based on public medical institutions, as well as the departments of the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy "N. Testemitanu", provides sponsorships, charities, funding to promote specialists at various symposia and international conferences to raise the prestige of Moldovan medicine. It also compiles various publications, which serve as training materials for healthcare professionals, students, etc.

The Representative Office is the second affiliate of Gedeon Richter in Moldova, after the Moldovan-Hungarian Wholesaler “RihPanGalPharma” set up in 1996. Construction of two warehouses complying with European standards (in Chisinau and Balti) and launch of its own chain of 45 socially-oriented pharmacies enabled the company to implement a vertically integrated model exclusive in Moldova. Today there are no other companies on the local pharmaceutical market, that have their own distributor, offering direct purchases of medicines from the factory, the official representative office and a branded retail chain. Altogether Richter employs 300 Moldovan citizens. 

Gedeon Richter products are in great demand in Turkmenistan and the Representative office activity aims to increase safe and effective use of GR products. A team of eight started the company in 1995 as part of the Baltic network led by current country manager of Lithuania, Vytautas Padolskis. After several years of expansion in all three Baltic countries, representative offices were established in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia separately. Gedeon Richter have been operating in the UK for over 60 years under the name Medimpex UK. In 2012 Gedeon Richter launched a Women's Health Division and now both Medimpex UK and the Women’s Health Division of Gedeon Richter are based in Maida Vale, London.

Richter products first entered the Mongolian market in the 1970s and since then our doctors, pharmacists and patients associate Panangin and other medicines with high quality.

The Representative Office was officially opened on September 1, 2008 with 2 officers. Currently, it has 13 employees and the business scope has expanded significantly. The Representative Office is responsible for registration of medicines into the State Register, distribution through official distributors, informing doctors and medical specialists about the latest achievements and practices of pharmacology as well as organizing various workshops and trainings to promote the rational use of medicines and the introduction of best practices.

 In 1996, Gedeon Richter was the first company in Vietnam to register and market the ACE inhibitor enalapril. Another historical milestone was 1998-99, when the first GCP trial on enalapril was carried out as a result of a successful scientific cooperation between Richter and Vietnamese doctors.

In the last 25 years, Richter launched new, efficient products with affordable prices to support and serve the healthcare system in Vietnam. During this period, the local office experienced a fourfold growth in size and the turnover increased tenfold. Richter has become a recognized leader in gynecology, a unique provider of emergency and regular contraception as well as of treatments for cardiovascular and central nervous system conditions.
