Gábor Orbán, CEO of Gedeon Richter Plc, has been awarded the Most Inspiring Leader of the Year Award based on the results of the 14th PwC Hungary CEO Survey conducted by PwC Hungary.

According to Hungarian CEOs, Gábor Orbán set an outstanding example of corporate governance and in shaping the business environment of the future.

With this award, PwC Hungary recognises leaders who not only stand out for their business achievements, but also set an example in the areas of organisational culture development, sustainable growth and inspiring leadership. The survey, which was conducted between October and December 2024, found Gábor Orbán to be the most inspiring Hungarian CEO, based on the opinions of 265 company leaders.

"For me, leadership is not just about business decisions, but also about inspiring others, creating growth opportunities, and building sustainable value. To me, this award is a testament to the fact that together at Richter we create values that go beyond business success," said Gábor Orbán, CEO of Gedeon Richter Plc, on receiving the award.

The award was presented by László Radványi, CEO of PwC Hungary, at an event held at PwC's Budapest headquarters, where the results of the latest PwC CEO Survey were also presented.
